This is the genuine Equotip Test Block D/DC, made by Proceq in Switzerland – the inventors of the Leeb hardness test.

Equotip test blocks are manufactured to tight tolerance and exceed the requirements of the ASTM A956 and ISO16859-3 standards. This Equotip test block is calibrated on both sides to provide the best value and performance. Calibrated values are laser marked on both test surfaces and a calibration certificate with a statement of uncertainty according to ISO16859 is included.

Leeb test blocks are used to verify the proper operation of the Leeb hardness tester.
