Mini Laser Photo Tachometer Counter Details
The Extech 461920: Mini Laser Photo Tachometer Counter allows you to take accurate measurements of rotating equipment like motors without making any contact at all. This device has a laser light source, which is capable of measuring motors and rotating objects with incredible accuracy and over long distances.
Particularly, the Extech tachometer measures RPM, and does so by having the laser source reflected off the rotating object by using reflective tape. By attaching reflective tape to the rotating object, your device will measure the time it takes for the laser to be reflected to get a result.
The contactless tachometer features a large five-digit LCD display with a backlight, for use in areas with poor lighting. There’s also a simple memory button which allows you to recall last, minimum and maximum readings onto the screen to allow for accuracy and easy referencing.
